Detoxification is the process of removing toxic material from the body. Toxins accumulate in a variety of ways: the food we eat, the air we breathe, the body's normal chemical processes, illness, and medications are a few primary sources. When these toxins become stagnant in the body and are allowed to accumulate, normal organ function becomes sluggish, performance and function declines, and sickness and disease follows. Regular detoxification provides the body with pathways for releasing toxicity, promotes and protects optimal organ function. and increases longevity. Often times detoxification is essential in chronic illness or very poor health to stimulate the body's natural healing processes. Without experiencing the detoxification, or the removal of old debris, other therapies often result in managing symptoms until the detoxification occurs.
Here at Crosser Healing Center we believe if the intestines are not functioning optimally, the body is unable to truly balance and heal. Detoxification is an initial step in the process of healing the intestines, creating better absorption, and allowing the cells to purge. We also believe the process of detoxification can cause more harm than good if not individualized to the client's specific needs and constitution.
There are many, many options for detoxification. Kara's extensive knowledge and experience offers safe, effective results. Metabolic detoxification, cleanses, and fasting protocols are developed to meet the specific needs of each client based on their current level of energy, lifestyle, and healing needs. Please feel free to read more about specific types of cleansing by accessing the list on the left.
